Exploring Existence

Who and what am I in this world? Where do I fit in? What’s all me, what’s beyond me? At what point do I crossover and start to witness something bigger than myself? What if ‘myself’ is the biggest, greatest thing I’ll ever know? Am I just a speck in the universe or the absolute center of it? Am I a product of my environment or is my environment a product of all I am and do? I watch the weather change, the plants grow, and the grass change color, but my seasons change too— I’m not the same I once was. We live amongst each other, die amongst each other— we exist amongst each other, but to what extent do we know of our existence and our neighbors’? Is life but a stage? Are we merely performers? Dead men walking who smile and laugh without ever being ‘alive to their fullest’.

How do we confront this big, bad world? How do we make peace with it? At what point will we cross the borderline, perhaps linger in the borderline and take it all in, where everyone and everything around us starts to exist and simply be as one?
